Our Story

Gamal & My Grandmother

Bisque is more than a ceramics brand, it is a legacy. Rooted in memory, craftsmanship, and quiet devotion, Bisque began with the two people who shaped my creative world: my grandmother, my greatest source of love and strength, and Gamal, the craftsman who learned from him a couple of years ago. Their influence remains the heartbeat of everything I make.

Though Gamal has passed away, his spirit lives on in every form, curve, and silhouette. My grandmother continues to be the reason I am a ceramicist today. Bisque exists because of them. The values they shared with me: patience, intention, generosity, and the belief that handmade pieces carry stories far beyond their surface.

What started in a small studio has now grown into a brand that has been in the market for five years, connecting traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design. Over the years, we have proudly collaborated with a range of partners who share our appreciation for thoughtful, handcrafted work.

Craftsmanship

No two hands shape the same way.

Every piece carries small traces of the process — a softened edge, a curve that moved slightly, a glaze that settled in its own direction. We don’t try to erase these moments. They are what make handmade work feel alive. Each object passes through many stages before it reaches you, and each stage leaves something behind.

Materials

Thoughtful materials, timeless pieces.

Ceramics change the way a table feels, the way coffee tastes in the morning, the way a shelf holds light. They are quiet objects, but they affect daily life more than we notice. I wanted to create pieces that feel useful first, beautiful naturally, and familiar over time.

Artistry

Where function meets expression.

We believe everyday objects can also be artistic ones. Our collections balance utility with sculptural beauty, creating ceramics that feel equally at home in use or on display. Soft silhouettes, earthy tones, and quiet details define our visual language.

A message from the founder.

Bisque was never about making things to sit untouched. I imagined cups used every morning, bowls passed around at dinner, vases moved from room to room. The best compliment is not that a piece looks beautiful, but that it became part of someone’s life without them noticing.
